Empowering Young
People for Success

TNCG’s primary objective is to reduce the poverty rate in our community by creating equal opportunities for our young people through the transfer and sharing of knowledge, experience and developing their talent.

Our organisation provides early intervention solutions that prevent young people from following into the category of Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) which is can lead to poverty. In previous years we have worked with young people aged 8 years – 19 years. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic we will be extending of support services to young adults aged 19 years to 24 years.

TNCG delivers coaching, mentoring, training and teaching that are interactive and held in a relaxed environment. The combination of support provided, empowers participants to achieve higher academic attainment, improved employability/entrepreneurial, networking and community engagement skills. Skills obtained compliment both formal and informal education whilst enhancing personal development. Participants are empowered to make good life choices, become self-aware and self-confident.

We also support parents of our participants especially for fostering stronger family relationships and acquiring skills on how to effectively support their young one’s development at home.

As part of the live skills development strategy, TNCG has delivered and will continue to deliver community cohesion that helps to bridge the gap between the BAME community and the wider community. We will also continue to deliver cultural activities, history studies particularly black history studies projects.

TNCG also actively engages in diverse community lead events including Basildon love your borough, multifaith forum and may fest. We are also well connected in our community and have had the privilege to work with various organisations.
